I think we all search for the peace and the comfort that the vulnerability of love allows us to rest in. Our hearts were created to desperately seek that type of freedom. The love of Jesus is enough. There is never disappointment, imperfection, or conditional terms when He loves you. He welcomes us all: the liars, the insecure, the frightened, the lonely, the unloved, the homosexuals, the gossips, the stoics, the alcoholics, the brokenhearted. Jesus demonstrates a love we cannot completley comprehend. A love that is freely given regardless of choices we make. A love that embraces us as we are, where we are.
